Memorial Day

We hope that you had a wonderful Memorial Day and were able to spend it with those you love. We remembered all our soldiers, but especially Cousin Jonathan, who is in Iraq serving our country to protect our freedom! Thank you!!

Of course, what would Memorial Day be without a parade? We found out that Cate actually LIKES parades (except those pesky clowns...) and brother Max taught her the age old art of collecting candy thrown from cars. She's a natural!

Andgy Day!

Most of you probably aren't as LUCKY as I am - I get TWO days to celebrate being a mom!! One for Cate and one for Max. Max and I get to celebrate what we have now termed "Andgy Day". (For those of you who don't know, Max calls me "Andgy"). This year on Andgy Day, I got to see Max play soccer. I also got a handmade weaving that Max had made at school. But the BESTEST present of all was my card. I love my little guy so much!

I'm a blogger!

Well, if you're reading this, it's because I sent you (or more likely my Mom sent you) the link to my new blog. Frankly, I was indirectly shamed into making a blog by Max! He started one and I thought if my 9 year old is old enough to have his own blog, I should hop into the information age and have one too!! In all truth, I thought this would be a good way to keep everyone (a little more) up to date on the goings on at our house and it would serve as a good record of those goings on! Not sure how often I will post, but blogspot seems easy so I will give it a try :)
